David Brunell-Brutman is a New York based illustrator and graphic designer. He currently works as a designer of children’s t-shirts and apparel graphics. His previous work includes men’s apparel and a wide variety of freelance illustration and design projects. David is graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, with a BFA in Communication Design and English.

His personal work has been featured on Dieselpunks, The Steampunk TribuneBrass Goggles, and Khuan Tru Artist Interviews, and shown at the CinemaZero Film Festival in Italy, The Anachronism NYC, The Morris County Library and The Society of Illustrators.  His t-shirt designs have been sold around the world at major retailers, including Urban Outfitters, Hot Topic, Forever 21, Spencer’s, ThinkGeek, AllPosters, The Gap, Old Navy, JCPenney, Macy’s, Kohl’s, Sears, Walmart, Target, and The Children’s Place.

David is also known for his work writing, performing, and editing original radio plays on the KWUR Theater of the Air, and his weekly comedy podcast Twenty Questions Tuesday with David & David.
